BOOM award winners

Each year BOOM Organizers and Sponsors present a number of awards to selected projects.

Each year students from across campus get the chance to show the Cornell and Ithaca community the technology projects they have been working on all year -- and receive monetary prizes for their work!

Organized and hosted by Computing and Information Science and the College of Engineering, BOOM is also made possible by extensive corporate support. Student's projects are featured from many disciplines, including games, robotics, autonomous vehicles, mobile phone apps, and more.

BOOM is free and open to the public. Middle school students and their teachers are particularly encouraged to attend. We hope to see you there.

BOOM 2020

In light of Cornell’s recent announcements regarding COVID-19, BOOM 2020 will not take place.

We would like to thank our students, sponsors, and supporters for understanding.

We look forward to seeing you at next year’s BOOM: April 28, 2021!
