Cornell CIS is once again representing its dedication to diversity at the Sept. 19-22 ACM Richard Tapia Celebration of Diversity in Computing in Orlando, FL. CIS and collaborating units are sending 43 students all-expenses-paid to this premier venue to promote diversity in computing. The conference brings together undergraduate and graduate students, faculty, researchers and professionals to connect and form communities around diversity in computing. Professor Richard Tapia is a national leader in diversity and has inspired a generation of African-American, Native American and Latino-Latina students to pursue careers in mathematics. CIS and Cornell Tech are platinum sponsors of this year's conference.
