On Feb. 17, the Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in the Cornell Ann S. Bowers College of Computing and Information Science whisked away Bowers CIS students, faculty, and staff on a day trip to the Greek Peak Mountain Resort.

Upon arrival, participants put on their gear and hit the slopes to go skiing, snowboarding, and tubing. From beginners to experts, everyone enjoyed the opportunity to get away from work and studying to enjoy some winter fun.

After taking a beginner’s ski lesson at the resort, Celeste Naughton ‘25 was super excited to hop on the ski lift and test her new skills. “That was so much fun!” she said after the trip. “I definitely want to come back and ski on the even bigger slopes!”
